Feel like you’ve been stuck inside for a while? Maybe you can relate to these black bears (Ursus americanus) emerging from hibernation in Colorado. The two cubs were orphaned in June, too young to survive on their own. Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rehabbed them at a facility so they could put on weight to survive their first winter. Wildlife officers released them in December, then put up a trail camera at their den site in March to catch them emerging.
