Western Section to hold ornithology workshop

The Western Section of The Wildlife Society will host a two-part virtual workshop, “The Bird Course: A Bird’s Eye View of Ornithology”, June 5 and 12.

This workshop offers an opportunity to gain a great deal of knowledge about birds with no pressure. The workshop will delve into everything ornithological, from how feathers work to how birds do it. Participants will come away with a basic understanding of how birds work, behave, and fit into ecology. Participants will be given a simple, low-pressure, 30 minutes to an hour long “homework assignment” to complete over the intervening week.

Early registration lasts until April 15 and costs:

$99 for Western Section members

$125 for Non-members

$38 for students and early career professionals (only 25 spots available)
