Going to the Annual Conference? Don’t forget to vote

If you’re going to the Annual Conference in Spokane, Washington, you may want to celebrate National Voter Registration Day first.

The Wildlife Society is returning to an in-person conference this year. That’s great news for wildlifers who want to meet up again and tap into some of the latest research in the field. But since the conference takes place Nov. 6 to 10, it could get in the way of voting for many attendees. For the U.S., Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8, which puts it right in the middle of the conference.

Conference attendees who plan to vote in the midterm elections may want to think about absentee or early voting options where they live. Check with your local county or state, or click here for resources that may be available in your area.

We can’t wait to see you at the conference!
