Western Section will host certification workshop July 17 and 18

The Western Section of The Wildlife Society will hold a virtual workshop on TWS certification July 17 and 18, led by Rhys Evans, CWB®, Biological Scientist/Natural Scientist Lead for Vandenberg Air Force Base and Jamila Blake, AWB®, Professional Development Manager for The Wildlife Society.

This free training will provide guidance, tips and insights into the process of completing The Wildlife Society’s Associate Wildlife Biologist® (AWB®) or Certified Wildlife Biologist® (CWB®) applications. The 3-hour workshop includes 2 hours of lecture/discussion, followed by 1 hour of (optional) open channel “office hours” with the instructors for text or video consultation on your specific questions in completing the application.

The same content will be included on July 17 and 18, so you only need to sign up for one of these days. All registrants must complete the secure online form here. Registration closes July 15. Please direct any questions you may have to workshops@tws-west.org.
