TWS renews Strategic Partner relationship with NAUFWP

The Wildlife Society and the National Association of University Fish and Wildlife Programs have reaffirmed their commitment to wildlife education and the next generation of wildlife professionals.

A renewed Strategic Partner agreement between TWS and NAUFWP outlines ongoing efforts to increase student engagement with TWS through membership and/or annual conference participation. In a similar fashion, TWS will leverage its network of more than 230 college and university student chapters to promote engagement and membership in NAUFWP.

TWS Annual Conference discounts or incentives for students at NAUFWP member institutions is one example the collaborative initiatives currently in the works. The organizations hope to announce details of that plan to NAUFWP organizations in the coming weeks.

The National Association of University Fish and Wildlife Programs first became a Strategic Partner of TWS in the spring of 2020. Both expect the agreement to continue to strengthen the relationship and new benefit students and educators in the wildlife field.
