TWS provided these comments, with the assistance and expertise of the Private Lands Working Group, in response to proposed revisions to the NRCS National Handbook of Conservation Practices (NHCP). This follows our comments to additional revisions to the NHCP earlier this year. Conservation Practice Standards (CPS) define the minimum science-based criteria for implementing specific conservation practices, ensuring consistency in NRCS conservation work across the country.
