The Wildlife Society, in coordination with and as a member of the IUCN, submitted this letter to the U.S. Sentencing Commission in July, 2026. The letter requests that the Commission designate federal sentencing for serious wildlife trafficking offenses as a priority in its upcoming amendment cycle.
