Pennsylvania Chapter to host Fall Field Day

The Pennsylvania Chapter of The Wildlife Society will be hosting a Field Day/Fall Gathering on Sept. 23-24, 2016, in DuBois and Benezette, Pennsylvania. The event will begin with a visit to the Elk County Visitor Center and will then continue with a day of technical workshops. Workshop topics will include: the status and management of Pennsylvania’s elk population, mist netting and bird banding, wetland delineation, plant identification, timber rattlesnakes, and more. Registration is open and ranges from $20-40 per person, which includes hors d’oeuvres at the Friday evening reception and lunch on Saturday.
