New England Chapter meeting to focus on wildlife careers

The New England Chapter of The Wildlife Society’s Spring Business Meeting and Workshop will be held on March 13, 2017 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in conjunction with the Connecticut Conference on Natural Resources (CCNR). It will be centered on The Wildlife Society and developing a wildlife career.

The New England Chapter of The Wildlife Society will provide a panel of professional wildlife biologists and recent graduates to discuss career tracks in wildlife biology. The panel will share their career experiences and provide an open question and answer period for students and anyone interested in wildlife careers. After the panel discussion wildlife professionals will be available for one-on-one career advice and general social networking. Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and cover letters for tips. There will also be a chance to learn about professional certifications and other wildlife career development opportunities. A final agenda will be available soon.
