New BLM-sponsored resource benefits agency, TWS members

As part of the Premier Partner relationship announced last November, The Wildlife Society and the Bureau of Land Management have launched a new webpage to serve as a valuable resource to the wildlife and conservation community.

The BLM partner opportunities page, which can be found under the “Partners” tab on wildlife.org, outlines the agency’s wildlife careers, Wildlife Program and Threatened and Endangered Species Program. TWS’ vast network can help ensure that the BLM continues to be a science-informed agency. One of the page’s most significant components clearly defines and organizes information about entry level hiring standards and processes of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, in an effort to improve wildlife students’ and professionals’ understanding and awareness of federal agency employment.

Visit wildlife.org/blm to learn more about the federal agency educational and experiential standards, careers with the BLM and the agency’s programs.
