Robin grew up in northern Michigan and earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oakland University in 2021. After graduating, she worked on various research projects involving aquatic invasive species surveys, songbird nest-searching and monitoring, and fall raptor migration surveys. She is now pursuing her master’s in Wildlife Ecology at Iowa State University. Her research focuses on landscape-scale drivers of songbird productivity and implications for multi-species management on restored Wetlands Reserve Program properties in central Iowa. She enjoys working to identify efficient management solutions in a heavily altered landscape. Robin became involved with the Wetlands Working Group during the 2025 Annual Meeting in Edmonton, Alberta. Outside of school, Robin enjoys hiking, camping and baking.
