FWS Considers Critical Habitat for Black Pinesnake
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has re-opened comments on the proposed listing of the black pinesnake as a threated species and the proposed designation of eight areas in Alabama and Mississippi as critical habitat for the species. The eight areas would cover 340,000 acres, 70% of which is owned by the Federal Government.
