A Look at the Environment on the 45th Earth Day

Today, people across the country are celebrating the 45^th Earth Day—an annual holiday for honoring our planet. Since the first Earth Day in 1970, there have been environmental improvements including legislation such as the Endangered Species Act and a decrease in air pollution. However, there are still many ways to improve the planet, especially since climate change has increased over the years. To mark the 45^th Earth Day, President Obama will visit Florida’s Everglades National Park to deliver a speech about Earth Day and promote his climate change agenda.
