Both the Southeastern Section and Virginia Chapter of The Wildlife Society signed this community-organized letter to Governor Spanberger of Virginia asking for “common sense solutions to address critical funding gaps” currently impacting the VA Deparment of Wildlife Resources (DWR). DWR is facing “mounting budget pressures” that have resulted in cuts to staff, programming, and other services offered by the agency.
