Southern California Chapter to host burrowing owl workshop

The Southern California Chapter of The Wildlife Society will host a burrowing owl workshop on June 7 at the Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve in San Diego County, California.

There will be a classroom session and a field workshop with presentations by staff and researchers from the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, conservation nonprofits and local consultants. Participants will be able to view a translocation site.

Registration costs $160 for chapter members and $180 for non-members, with reduced pricing offered for current students. Click here for more information or to register.
