TWS Nebraska Communication Workshop

In February 2016, the Nebraska TWS Chapter held a Science Communication workshop. They hosted two communications specialists from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission to talk about science communication and lead participants in developing their own “talking points”. You can take this information to the communication specialists at a local agency and ask if they would be willing to lead a workshop at your next local conference!

There are also groups that provide science communication workshops, although usually at a cost. Check out AAAS Science Communication workshops, and this COMPASS webpage lists many potential resources for developing a science communication workshop.
