2024 TWS Annual Conference
The TWS Annual Conference took place from October 19-23, 2024 in Baltimore, MD. Twenty-one Conservation Education and Working Group (CEOWG) members and prospective members met for our annual working group session. The group discussed organizing a symposium or workshop at upcoming conferences, focusing on topics like effective outreach, overcoming language barriers, and engaging broader audiences by collaborating with other organizations.
2023 TWS Annual Conference
The 2023 CEOWG Conference took place July 19-21 in Madison, WI. The working group was very excited about this interactive conference on Sharing the Land Ethic, a theme that touched all who work in conservation education and outreach. Highlights included workshops on working with private landowners and indigenous communities, field trips, and a screening of “Green Fire” led by the Aldo Leopold Foundation staff who helped create the movie.
