Promoting Excellence in Wildlife Stewardship
through Science and Education

We are the Idaho affiliation of The Wildlife Society, an internationally recognized advocate for excellence in wildlife stewardship. We are a nonprofit, scientific and educational association dedicated to active and careful management and conservation of wildlife and their habitats in Idaho.

Our mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, wildlife managers, educators, and land use planners, and to inform and educate citizens in support of issues which promote sustainable, diverse wildlife populations.

Chapter committees and members provide scientific and educational information at annual professional conferences, during organization and public meetings, for wildlife policy reviews, and in school classrooms.
