Workshop: Critical Skills for Early Career Professionals

In 2015, our Working Group hosted a workshop that covered critical skills for early career professionals. In this workshop, we covered meeting facilitation and consensus building, networking, finding and securing funding for projects, project and risk management, and applying to jobs and interviewing. The materials from this workshop, including the workshop proposal, the agenda, the speaker bios, and the presentations the speakers gave, are posted below. We have included speaker bios so you can get an idea for the variety of wildlife professionals that can lead sessions for you, and encourage you to find local wildlife professionals to lead these workshops at local conferences!
