Watch: Kemp’s ridley sea turtle continues to rebound

The Kemp’s ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys kempii) was once thought to be on its way to extinction. But thanks to conservation efforts, the turtle is making a comeback. At Padre Island National Seashore in Texas, the turtle’s numbers are continuing to climb, thanks to the efforts of a few dedicated biologists and volunteers.
