SOUTHEASTERN ASSOCIATION OF FISH AND WILDLIFE AGENCIES CONFERENCE

Sunday, October 27 – Wednesday, October 30, 2019 • Hilton Head, South Carolina

The Annual Conference of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies is a forum for the exchange of ideas and critical information regarding the management and protection of fish and wildlife resources primarily in the southeast. The conference attracts over 500 representatives from state and federal agencies, citizen’s organizations, universities, and private wildlife research groups, fisheries and wildlife scientists, agency enforcement personnel, and other natural resource related organizations.

Hosted by South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the 73rd Annual Conference will be held at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Executive Board Meeting of the Southeastern Section will be held on October 27, 2019 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM. 

The Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Section will be held on October 29, 2019 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM.

Officer Elections

The Southeastern Section of The Wildlife Society announces candidates for the 2019 election of incoming officers for the positions of President-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer.  Candidate statements can be found in the September 2019 newsletter by clicking here. Election results will be announced during the SE-TWS Annual Business Meeting held on Tuesday, October 29 in Hilton Head, SC at the 73rd Annual Conference of the Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies.

Voting is open to current Southeastern Section members only. Current members will receive a ballot via email. Members are encouraged to vote electronically by sending their completed ballot to SE TWS President-Elect Ray Iglay, ray.iglay@msstate.edu. All ballots must be received by the close of voting at 5:00 pm EST on October 28, 2019.
