Watch: Bighorns go back to Fort Berthold

Bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) are back on the Fort Berthold Reservation in western North Dakota after a 150 year absence. Their translocation from the Rocky Boy’s Reservation in Montana was the result of a collaboration between state and tribal organizations and private business.

Watch below for more on the effort from North Dakota Game and Fish Department’s North Dakota Outdoors.
