Video: Wildlife Celebrate Mother’s Day, Too

The Missouri Department of Conservation urges people to celebrate all of nature’s mothers on Mother’s Day. Many animals in the wild are having babies and caring for their newborns around this time of year by feeding and sheltering their young. Among the mothers celebrated in Missouri this spring are raccoons, coyotes and deer. While all animals have different ways of caring for their young, mothers are an important part of wildlife survival.
