Honey Bee Habitat Funded by USDA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced that it will provide $4 million to private landowners to improve honeybee health in the Midwest. The funds will be directed to farmers and ranchers to plant high quality pollen producing plants and improve management techniques during summer and early fall when the bees need to store up resources for the winter months.
