The Native Student Development Program: Where It’s Been and Where It’s Going

Hosted By: Native Peoples’ Wildlife Management Working Group
Date: November 28, 4:00 pm

In this webinar, we will highlight the Native Student Professional Development Program that is part of the Native Peoples’ Wildlife Management Working Group of TWS. We will go over the history of the program, how it began and its purpose. Next, we will talk about the current state of the program, as well as this year’s cohort and what they learned. We will then look at where we want to take the program into the future, including making it into a yearlong program similar to the Leadership Institute. The expansion of this program benefits not only the participants, but all TWS members and the conservation of important resources. We are looking to share our success and vision, and get input on future funding and opportunities for the program.
