Watch: Moose spar in Wyoming

Male moose have a special way of establishing a pecking order when encountering one another in the wild without too much undue violence, despite their brawn.  Moose (Alces alces) lock their giant antlers and engage in a pushing contest in order to determine which male is more dominant. A wildlife biologist from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently caught one of these contests on camera near Buffalo in the state.
