TWS annual conference to go virtual

The Wildlife Society’s 2020 Annual Conference is going virtual.

As a result of the uncertainty surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, TWS has decided to suspend this year’s in-person event in Louisville, Kentucky, in favor of a fully virtual experience.

The decision reflects TWS’ responsibility to protect the health and wellbeing of the Society, its members, conference attendees and the general population while still serving its mission.

“While we may not be seeing you in Louisville, we are committed to creating a valuable and engaging educational and networking experience that mirrors our in-person event. In fact, we’re quite excited about all of the new possibilities that a virtual conference opens up for you!” wrote TWS CEO Ed Thompson in a letter to members.

The new format offers new possibilities. Please check in with us at twsconference.org for news, updates and details about the program as our plans for the virtual conference develop.

Please stay tuned for information on virtual conference registration, which will open on or shortly after June 15.

Don’t worry about missing out on Louisville. TWS will hold its 2023 conference there, following next year’s conference in Baltimore, Md., and the 2022 conference in Spokane, Wash.
