The Wildlife Professional November/December issue is online

This cover feature of this issue of The Wildlife Professional examines efforts to protect western rangelands that are being damaged by overabundant feral horses and burros, a controversial issue that TWS’ Government Affairs and Partnership staff have championed along with other stakeholders that participate in the National Horse & Burro Rangeland Management Coalition.

The sixth and final issue of our 10th anniversary year also features contributed articles on how wildlife researchers tackled an outbreak of avian influenza in wild birds, a look at the eMammal project that involves large numbers of citizens scientists who are deploying camera traps to document wildlife diversity, and some advice for wildlife biologists who find themselves caught up in human-wildlife conflicts.
