Presidential candidates answer questions on science, policy

Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein have responded to 20 questions about science, technology and the environment. The crowd-sourced questions were sent by sciencedebate.org, an organization that has been asking presidential candidates to respond to questions on science issues since 2008.

TWS supports the use of science in policy and decision-making processes and joined 55 organizations and associations last month to ask the candidates to address these questions. This year’s topics include the use of science in regulatory decisions, biodiversity, climate change, and ocean health.
