Welcome to the Indiana Chapter of The Wildlife Society
The Indiana Chapter of The Wildlife Society was founded in 1968 under the parent society as the professional organization of trained wildlife ecologists, biologists, and managers in the state.
The Indiana Chapter of The Wildlife Society (ICTWS) is the state chapter of The Wildlife Society, a professional organization whose membership is comprised of professional wildlife biologists, managers, and scientists. Members are students in accredited colleges studying wildlife, actively employed wildlife biologists, managers, and scientists, or retired/emeritus wildlife biologists, managers, and scientists. Members in ICTWS work in the field of wildlife conservation and are employed by various government agencies (state and federal), universities, non-profit conservation organizations, and the private consulting sector. Members of ICTWS not only work in Indiana, but live and recreate in Indiana. Members of ICTWS are Hoosiers who are committed to the conservation of natural resources of the state, including its soil, water, plants, and wildlife.
