Can countries work together to fund conservation?

A new study suggests different ways to provide money to countries with protected areas in order to benefit conservation. Researchers from Sweden, Germany, Brazil and the U.S. developed three different designs in which countries and their governments can work together to help finance biodiversity protection and conservation. The most efficient, they found, provided the most additional money to countries that were farthest from their conservation goals.
