NWF poll finds support for protecting wildlife routes

A recent poll conducted for the National Wildlife Federation found residents of Colorado and New Mexico supported protections of wildlife migration corridors. More than 84% of respondents said they would like to see increased efforts to safeguard wildlife corridors. Asked about specific proposals, over 73% supported every potential solution, including building overpasses on highways and preventing oil and gas development in known wildlife corridors.
