The California Central Coast Chapter of The Wildlife Society will be hosting the Annual Wildlife Symposium intended to bring local students and professionals together to share ideas, professional knowledge, information on projects, and on-going research. This year’s symposium will focus on partnerships and collaborative ventures in wildlife conservation.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Joseph DiDonato
Joe specializes in management of endangered species of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. He spent nearly 20 years as the Wildlife Manager and Stewardship Manager for the East Bay Regional Park District. Joe now works as an independent consulting biologist and has worked extensively on the impacts to raptors from wind energy development in the Altamont Pass where he continues to capture golden eagles and monitor them with telemetry. He has worked in Conservation Banking for the last 10 years and will share his experiences collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and share lessons learned while helping manage our most vulnerable species.
