The Kansas Chapter of The Wildlife Society

The Kansas Chapter of The Wildlife Society is an avenue for professionals in wildlife management and related natural resource fields in the state to work with their peers and to advance professional natural resource management.

Grant Opportunities

The Kansas Chapter of The Wildlife Society offers a student travel grant to pay for attending the Kansas Natural Resource Conference or the TWS Annual Conference.  The chapter also offers a Student Membership Sponsorship Grant which will cover all or a portion of annual dues for membership into TWS, CMPS, and KCTWS. KCTWS is accepting applications for the Robert J. Robel Memorial Award for undergraduate students studying wildlife biology/management or equivalent degree from a university in Kansas. One student will be selected in 2018. Deadline for submission is December 31, 2017. The award will be presented to the winning student during the annual KCTWS business meeting at the Kansas Natural Resources Conference in Manhattan on February 8, 2018.
