STUDENT CHAPTERS
The Wildlife Society’s 147 student chapters are composed of student and professional members of the Society. Based at college campuses across North America, these chapters establish their own locally-focused objectives and have their own bylaws, officers, committees, and dues structure.

The Wildlife Society’s Annual Conference is widely regarded as the largest and most important technical meeting for wildlife professionals and students in North America. With roughly 1,000 educational and networking opportunities available each year, the conference offers students exposure to the latest industry happenings and notable professionals in the field. We also invite students to present their research each year and offer student travel grants to help get you there.

STUDENT CONNECTIONS
Expand your extracurriculars by joining (or starting!) a student chapter at your institution to build your own locally-focused community of like minded students and faculty. We also offer up to eight regional student conclaves hosted by student chapters to provide college students with valuable hands-on training in wildlife management and conservation, and networking opportunities with wildlife professionals.
