Certification Review Board

The Wildlife Society’s Certification Review Board (CRB) is comprised of at least 5 members, chosen to provide equitable representation of The Wildlife Society Sections and professional disciplines. The Board evaluates each AWB® and CWB® application to determine if an applicant meets the rigorous education, experience, and ethical requirements.  Information on Certification Program administration, operations, program requirements, and appeal procedures can be found in the Wildlife Biologist Certification Program Policies & Procedures Manual.

Code of Ethics Violation

Censure and suspension or revocation of certification for violation of the Code of Ethics as prescribed by The Wildlife Society is a serious matter that reflects unfavorably on the entire profession. Considerable effort must be expended to ensure equitable treatment of all concerned.

The Wildlife Society assumes no liability for charges of misconduct filed by or against an Associate or Certified Wildlife Biologist® and the Society provides no financial or legal assistance to either the person(s) bringing a charge of misconduct or the individual charged with misconduct.
