Wildlife and habitat restorations workshop this August

The Minnesota Chapter of The Wildlife Society will hold its annual summer workshop Aug. 16 in St. Michael, Minnesota, with this year’s theme being wildlife and habitat restorations.

The workshop will consist of morning talks by invited speakers followed by a choice of afternoon field trips with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to tour the Pelican Lake wetland restoration, or with Three Rivers Park staff to see the 1,200-acre prairie restoration at the Crow-Hassan Park Reserve. Women of Wildlife will also host a talk and activities at Riverbend Group Camp in the Crow-Hassan Park Reserve after the field trips for any interested attendees.

Download the agenda and registration form for more information. The early bird registration deadline is Aug. 12.
