Video: Conserving Blanding’s Turtles in Massachusetts

Most endangered Blanding’s turtles (Emys blandingii) die before they hatch or within their first year. But Grassroots Wildlife Conservation has been working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to find the turtles using radio-telemetry in Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in Concord, Mass. to help protect the reptiles during nesting and hatching.
