The July/August issue of The Wildlife Professional

The threats to natural resources and the need for smarter resource conservation in the face of those threats has continued to grow for many decades. The cover feature of this issue of The Wildlife Professional looks at a spectrum of conservation partnerships, including regional and international efforts, that pool resources and expertise to tackle pressing needs.

Contributed articles include how wildlifers can have a voice in public policy decisions, a new approach to conservation funding in Oregon, and why wildlifers should pay attention to how societal views of animal welfare are changing.

The issue also features parting thoughts from TWS’ Executive Director Ken Williams who retired on June 30 and an introduction of the new CEO Ed Thompson by TWS President Bruce Thompson.
