Students have opportunity to engage with federal agencies

Registration for The Wildlife Society’s 25th Annual Conference in Cleveland, Ohio, is now open! Visit twsconference.org for details, or register now by logging in to Your Membership and clicking on the Conference tab.

This year at the upcoming annual TWS conference in Cleveland, students will have the opportunity to learn firsthand what it’s like to work in federal agencies by attending the Careers with Federal Agencies panel.

They’ll hear from professionals with the Forest Service, USDA Wildlife Services, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Land Management about career opportunities and a day in the life working in the field.

The past few years, these sessions were broken up into two parts, but this year, students can receive all the information in one place during one all-encompassing panel. Attendees can compare careers in a variety of federal agencies and ask questions to help them understand the opportunities that may be available.

The panel takes place Monday, Oct. 8 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Mark your calendar so you don’t miss out!
