Squirrel Researcher Takes on Winnipeg

Jessica Watson, a student member of The Wildlife Society, studies squirrel behavior and interaction as part of her undergraduate research at Concordia College in Minnesota. She presented her research at the 2015 TWS Annual Conference in Winnipeg this past October. According to Watson, attending the conference was worthwhile, especially since she is preparing for a career in the biology field, which she hopes will include reptiles and snakes. At the conference, Watson got several leads on research experiences for next summer and even met one of the sources that she cited in her research. Read more about Watson’s research and experience at the conference at Concordia College’s website.
