Climate change report becomes top government download

In the week following President Trump’s inauguration and the removal of climate change priorities from the White House website, a climate change report by the National Park Service became the most downloaded document from any federal government website. The “Cultural Resources Climate Change Strategy,” which addresses climate change’s effects on archaeological sites, historic buildings, sacred landscapes and other cultural resources, had thousands more downloads than tax documents or passport renewal forms, according to analytics.usa.gov. On the Environmental Protection Agency website, nine of the top 10 downloads were related to climate change.
