Conservation Education and Outreach Working Group TWS logo

Welcome to the Conservation Education and Outreach Working Group

We provide a forum for TWS members to cooperate in helping build public support for wildlife management programs. The working group provides for the exchange and advancement of ideas in elementary and secondary curricula, development of innovative outreach programs, infusion of critical learning skills in conservation education, conservation and environmental writing, and teaching techniques.

The CEOWG board meets virtually the second Wednesday of every month from 1:30-2:30pm Eastern. Meeting minutes are posted after the meeting on our Slack channel. Please email Maureen Frank (mgfrank@tamu.edu) if you have any questions.

The Working Group also holds an annual meeting during The Wildlife Society’s Annual Conference.

The CEO Working Group is active on SLACK, a meeting communication app. Find us at <conservatione-fvv9058.slack.com>, where we will post our meeting minutes and announce our next meeting agenda.
