Apply now for TWS Leadership Institute Class of 2018

The Wildlife Society is now accepting applications for the Leadership Institute Class of 2018. The deadline to submit applications is Sunday, Mar. 18.

The Leadership Institute participants engage in a series of activities to develop and expand their leadership skills. The program typically begins in May and concludes at TWS’ Annual Conference in Cleveland, Ohio in October. Participants will receive complimentary registration and a travel grant to attend the conference.

The Leadership Institute is geared toward early-career professionals, typically two to three years out of undergraduate or graduate school, who are currently working full-time in a wildlife professional position with demonstrated evidence of leadership potential. More recent graduates who have shown strong leadership potential or individuals who are working while pursuing a graduate degree are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be members in good standing with TWS and a chapter or section of TWS. Preference will be given to individuals who are currently designated as an Associate Wildlife Biologist® or Certified Wildlife Biologist®, or have submitted such an application to TWS.

Applicants should submit materials to leadership@wildlife.org by Sunday, Mar. 18.
